Tamarack Technologies Inc., the company manufactured the older scanners (except for the 2400FS Film Scanner) is no longer in business. They had series of financial losses in the European market which finally caught up with them in August of 2000. They closed up their European subsidiary in 1999 and the manufacturing facility/head office in 2000. Although as the Tamarack Technologies Inc., North America flatbed scanner distributor since 1994 we do have similar trade names. Tamarack US Corporation nevertheless maintain as an independent company with it's own product and business agenda. We were unable to receive shipment of products and technical support ever since Tamarack Technologies Inc. filed bankruptcy proceedings with Taiwanese authority. It was extremely troublesome to obtain results from them and after number of high level meeting with their boards we had no choice but to drop all Tamarack Technologies product line from our product group. We certainly regret the unfortunate situation, we do however need to forge ahead with our own business chapter.
