Appalachian Trail - Lions Den Road to Wapiti Shelter

4.6 miles round trip.  If you start at the gate at Lions Den Road, the round trip will be 6.8 miles.

This is a couple of miles of the Appalachian Trail.  It begins where the trail crosses Lions Den Road.  It ends at Wapiti Shelter.

I've uploaded a separate track of the hike along Lions Den Road.  There's a gate to block cars from traveling all the way up that road.  My separate track is the hike from the gate to the Appalachian Trail.
